In Loving Memory of Kelli McLaughlin
Kelli's unwavering dedication to making a difference continues to inspire us all. Her legacy lives on through the Kind Like Kelli Day, a beautiful tribute to her remarkable efforts.
At the age of 44, Kelli, a devoted wife, mother of 4, small business owner, active community member, and passionate fundraiser, faced an unexpected diagnosis of Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme. Despite the devastating prognosis, Kelli and her family chose to transform their heartbreak into something extraordinary. They initiated the First Annual Kelli's Kegs N Eggs 5K in April 2022, raising funds for vital brain cancer research and providing support to fellow Hoosiers battling this disease.
In 2017, Kelli founded Clothes With A Cause, a boutique where 100% of profits were donated to organizations striving to make the world a better place. Through CWAC, Kelli empowered countless individuals to join her mission of spreading kindness. She touched lives locally, nationally, and internationally, offering everyone a convenient way to make a positive impact.
Kelli's compassion knew no bounds. The Hoosier Humanity Project, one of her proudest creations, ensured that people experiencing homelessness received wrapped Christmas gifts, warm clothing, nonperishable food, and essential hygiene products. She believed in the inherent worth of all individuals, and her belief radiated through every facet of her life.
On April 21, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones, Kelli peacefully passed away at home. Even in her final days, Kelli's fervent desire to raise funds and find a cure for Glioblastoma persisted. Your participation in Kind Like Kelli honors her memory and helps spread the kindness she championed.
Let's continue to carry Kelli's spirit with us, embracing the power of kindness and making a positive difference in the world. Together, we can fulfill her wishes and create a more beautiful and compassionate world. #KindLikeKelli
